We have received your letter of the 20th July, complaining of delay in the delivery of goods for which order was placed on 16th July. We are really very sorry that you had to face some inconvenience on our account. As a matter of fact the pressure of work was so heavy that your order could not be executed. However, we shall try to expedite things and every effort shall be made to deliver the supplies in time in future. Once again we very much regret the inconvenience caused to you and assure you of the delivery of the present supply before the end of the month.
We fully appreciate the indulgence you have shown to us in extending the date of delivery and hope that you will accept our apologise for the delay and continue the same friendly relationship which existed in the past.
